We can provide web pages, contact forms, feedback forms, shopping carts, forums, surveys, logos, photo galleries, . . . . the list goes on

And our clever colloborative way of working means we can provide you with even more services through our collaborators - flash movies and animations and photo manipulation and enhancment for now but more services will be added as new collaborators join us.

How much it costs depends on exactly what you want. We don't have set prices - each site is priced according to the work it needs. A very simple one page site with all content supplied by yourselves would start from as little as £50 though. And all singing all dancing gizmos on every page could potentially have no ceiling. But don't worry we never enter into work without you knowing exactly* what it will cost before we start. If we miss calculate the time something takes to do that's our fault and 1 racked up to experience to remember for next time. (*external costs such as hosting fees and domain registrations will be beyond our control and could vary over time)

3 steps to your website -

Initital chat - totally free! No bills issued for talking about what you want. From these initial talks we will come up with a quote based on what was decided. This quote will only change if the work involved changed (say you want to add more pages or do something radically differrent)

Starting work. Once you decide you do want us to do your site we'll start work on receipt of the deposit. We will make any set up arrangements required (depending on hosting and domain arrangements - see below) and complete a first draft of your site design. Once the first draft is completed we'll discuss any changes you want made - if changes are radical there may be a change in our fee - we will inform you and discuss it with you before completing work. Once you are happy with the site design we will either upload it to it's final place or send it to you on cd for uploading yourself on payment of the balance.

Future updates and alterations. if you want something changed or added at a later date just let us know and we'll give you a quote for that. We do not charge any ongoing monthly fees once we have completed your site, if you feel able to alter and update it yourself then you are welcome to do so but if you want us to we will and will only charge as and when work needs doing. Do bear in mind though that hosting fees may need to be paid monthly depending on the hosting arrangements.

Hosting and domains

We can host your site for you - this is a seperate fee to our site creation fees and wil vary according to your site's requirements - or you can select your own hosting, we'll even help you look for hosts if you want. If you do want to do this part yourself please do consult us before entering into a hosting contract as not all hosting is the same and you need to ensure your chosen host is compatible with the site you want. If you already have hosting then we will plan your site according to the hosting package or discuss alternate hosting possibilities with you.

We are not a domain registrar but we can help you register your domain. If you wish us to register your domain for you we charge a small fee above the cost of the domain to do this. Domains are always registered in your own name with your own details on them - you receive the registration certificate and retain full control over the domain. If you already own your own domain name we can help you set it up to work with your new site as required.

Site promotion

We are not site promotion experts. But in truth neither are a great many of the web designers out there who claim they are. But we will never leave you high and dry once your site is made. We will optimise it for search engines, submit it to them if you wish us to and advise you on promotion methods and opportunities.

Image manipulation and restoration.

Basic image manipulation, alteration, resizing and optimization we can do 'in-house' but maybe you want something a bit more complicated - old images restored, composites created from multiple images, pop-art imagery, re-colouring, dark images brightening . . . PR and Promotion work

Gemma Childe is a trained journalist and uses her writing skills to create innovative press releases to help publicise new businesses.
Having trained in 1995 (on the National Council for the Training of Journalists course), Gemma has worked on a number of newspapers and magazines, before branching out into public relations.
Working mainly with work-from-home parents, Gemma has helped raise the profile of those who have set up their own company because she knows how hard it can be to juggle between parenting and work.
Her aim is to produce an eye-catching tailor-made press release which you can then distribute to newspapers and magazines.
Gemma is also a dab hand at proofreading (useful for your website and company literature).
A working-from-home mother herself, Gemma lives in Berkshire with her husband Matthew and toddler Ruby Lola.
